Below is a report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Bluebeard's Nest
Another fun year!
We weren't quite as active this year as last, but still had a good year.
Sparky took over for the Captain (who broke an arm) in our long-standing Found
Instrument Concert in the Park. Anything that makes sound is an instrument! But
we learned you can only hit a ceramic frog so hard!
I, Captain "Sesame Seed" Rogers started Shamlicht Boys a few years ago which
merged with Sister Hooter's Shamlicht Girls. We're banded together in the Tree of
the Atlantic in Peddocks Grove in Forest USA.
Our band as of the end of the year is Hot Dog Joey Jr., Fingers Ray, Frankly Fred,
and Bongo Congo. Our nestlers are Captain "Sesame Seed" Rogers and
promoted Sparky Newberg as assistant conductor.
There weren't as many merit badges this year as last, but there were still some fine
accomplishments!
