| SHAMLICHT KIDS CLUB REPORTS |
Below is a report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Bluebeard's Nest
This was another great year!
Our traditional Found Instrument Concert in the Park had the most participants
ever and even got noticed by the local newspaper! A found instrument is anything
portable you can make a sound with. Or it could even be non-portable if it's at the
band site! We helped raise money for people in need, and had some fun trips.
Our group plays in the Tree of the Atlantic in Peddocks Grove in Forest USA. Don't
try to find that on a standard map!
Our bandmembers which we call nestlings were Hot Dog Joey Jr., Fingers Ray,
Frankly Fred, George Gerbil, Will the Chill, and Tommy Tunafish. Our nestlers are
Conductor Captain "Sesame Seed" Rogers and, Assistant Conductor Sparky
Newberg.
We gave out some merit badges this year!
