| SHAMLICHT KIDS CLUB REPORTS |
Below is a report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Purple Ferret's Nest
This was a year for revival!
On Groundhog's Day, Purple Ferret's Nest had its first real meeting in a while.
One of our founding nestlers and several members retired, but we got a new
nestler (who was an original nestling) and new members. (You can see who retired
by comparing this to last year's report.)
This may have been our most active year! We had several events including
playing games including 1000 Blank White Cards, Erister Egg making and Erister
Egg Hunt, going to a May Fest, making hats, water "fighting," setting off fireworks,
going to a park, making masks, making eccentric Christmas ornaments, and an
party with dancing and a variet of games including Simon Says, Hide and Seek,
FUG, and Twister.
(Those in italics were not members at the end of 2016).
Our members for the year were Mellow Yellow Butterfly, Necia Nandibear, Ghost
Horse, and new members Crawling Gazella, Red Whimpus, Pony Belle, Rider Rat,
Chloe Polar Bear, Blue Dolphin, Woodrat, Angel Kitty, and Blue Turtle (who joined
the last day of the year).
Nestlers were Shamlicht AL, Bishop Bangkok, and new nestler Bumber Bunny
(name changed from member name Bumper Bunny due to a typo), and we had
assistant Nestler (and former member) Great Gryphon in the early part of the year.
