| SHAMLICHT KIDS CLUB REPORTS |
Below is a report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Bluebeard's Nest
We had a year to beat the band!
Of course we had our long-standing Found Instrument Concert in the Park. If it
makes a sound, it can be an instrument! We had the most people attending of any
year, so it's becoming quite popular! We also helped some people who had to deal
with flooding, and banded together to do our own version of the Erister Egg Hunt.
If you don't know, Shamlicht Boys, started by me, the Captain, began several years
ago and then merged with Sister Hooter's Shamlicht Girls. Our group is in the Tree
of the Atlantic in Peddocks Grove in Forest USA.
Our band as of the end of the year are Hot Dog Joey Jr., Fingers Ray, Frankly
Fred, Bongo Congo, Sammy the Stringer. Our nestlers are Conductor Captain
"Sesame Seed" Rogers and Assistant Conductor Sparky Newberg.
We awarded several merit badges this year so were very proud of our nestlings.
