| SHAMLICHT KIDS CLUB REPORTS |
Below is a report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Purple Ferret's Nest
Hard to believe another year's gone by!
Unfortunately, our club wasn't too active until near the end of the year. We almost
missed The Erister Egg Hunt! We did have a few meetings and play some games
and most of us celebrated the Circle of the Year with another group with a large
overlap of members.
Last year we made no real distinction between "nestlings" and "nestlers" as our
members were practically ready to be leaders. This year we had some new
members with limited life experience so had nestlers, senior nestlings, and
nestlings. Nestlers are Shamlicht Al, Minima, Bishop Bangkok; senior nestlings are
Koko Kitty and Rosey Tiger (who left for college in September), Harry Monkey, Joe
Monkeyshines, Bumper Bunny, Leghornia (aka Nutchatch), Greenfox; and
Swandive (who moved away during the middle of the year), and new nestlings in
the last quarter of the year are Mellow Yellow Butterfly, Great Gryphon, Necia
Nandibear, and Ghost Horse. As you might have noticed, all our members have
names that include animals.
