| SHAMLICHT KIDS CLUB REPORTS |
Below is a report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Wildwood Beaver's Nest
We've been around three years now!
As was true of last year, our nestlings and nestlers are members or frequent
visitors to the same great commune. And we have the same terrific people as last
year. Our resident nestlers are Reverend Loveshade and Ms. MC and resident
nestlings are Red Nosey and Puffletoes Twinkleton. Last year's nestling Dr. Emma
aka Untroubled Teen who goes to school here is now an assistant nestler. Milkey
Man is our one non-resident nestling.
We hoped to get a clubhouse built in the barn this year, but that got postponed as
we had to re-dig the commune's well, do some more fencing, and further our goal
to get off the grid.
Of course we had our traditional Erister Egg Hide, hiding plastic eggs containing
memes, small toys, and other items in plastic eggs to be found at an Easter Egg
Hunt. On Mischief Night we watched the same-name movie (fast-forwarding
through some parts), and did some cherry knocking. We had fun at a May Day
festival, gave out food and Christmas presents, and had a couple crazy parties.
