Below is a 2012 report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Nest of Pink Vipers
This was a very special year for our nest!
We were quite excited to see Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht
become a reality! Nestler Sister Hooter co-wrote some articles with fellow club
founder Captain "Sesame Seed" Rogers, Nestler and graduate Nestling Pope Hilde
wrote an essay about Eristotle and co-wrote an article about fish and reptiles,
graduate Nestling Lani Lina Lian Lain co-wrote the lyrics to the Shamlicht Kids
Club Song, and graduate Nestlings Maria and Goldie Bear posed for the cover!
Of course we're very proud of our current Nestlings! They are Pineapple Patty,
Fallopia, Dairy Queenie, Kallixti Girl, Princess Mugwump Cat, and MP5. Our
mascot for this year is the yellow parakeet named December 21.
We hosted an Erister Egg Hunt, a couple swim parties, and volunteered to clean
up trash. We also donated books to a jail for women including Principia Discordia!
We have a wonderful group!
