Below is a 2012 report on the activities of a Shamlicht Kids Club nest. A nest is its
smallest group, usually with five to 10 members. Some of these reports were made
before the end of the year, so may be incomplete.
Purple Ferret's Nest
We've had the same great members for a while, but
some of our members are now almost at the point they
could be nestlers instead of nestlings!
Like everybody else we were excited to learn that Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The
Tales of Shamlicht finally came out! Our group is mentioned in the book, and
Bumper Bunny has both a quote and one of the 1000 Blank White Cards in it! Not
bad for a girl who was then six years old. And Rosey Tiger posed with Miley Spears
for one of the pictures!
We had our annual Erister Egg Hunt and a swim party or two. The best part was
meeting some Shamlicht Kids Club Nestlers from out of state. We saw Princess
Unicornia and Fairy Princess Yoshikyoko who started Little Stingers Nest a few
years ago. They also began Mythics of Harmonia which is not part of SKC.
They've been at college and Unicornia is preparing to teach elementary school.
Our members are Koko Kitty, Rosey Tiger, Harry Monkey, Joe Monkeyshines and
Bumper Bunny (founding members) and Leghornia (aka Nutchatch) and Greenfox.
